Maurice Arenas

Maurice Arenas is an iconoclastic guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and composer.
Throughout his session musician career, Maurice has performed and composed in a wide variety of genres including Classical, Flamenco, Jazz, Fusion, Rock, Electric Blues, R&B, Funk, Latin, Soul, Shred, Acoustic Blues, Folk, Southern Rock, Fingerstyle, Country, Experimental, EDM and New Age.
Maurice's eclectic composition style has the listener guessing in discovering what the next musical style might be in his next release.
His ultimate goal is to explore all musical possibilities without being entrenched in any one single genre. “Freedom of Expression” is his musical mantra.
From Electronic Rock Fusion with Joe Pinnavaia to Jazz Funk with Oz Noy to Blues Rock with David Grissom, to EDM remixes with 6058, to solo Jazz Guitar and Classical Guitar, Maurice always tries to balance his own musical identity on guitar while navigating that difficult musical landscape of the composition.
Maurice is also a TrueFire instructor with various guitar instructional products for guitarists and has been featured many times as a columnist in various guitar magazines and publications.
